It's a crazy thing. The Law of Attraction works amazingly well for some people and doesn't seem to work at all for others. Why? What's the secret?
Some people would rebut that The Law of Attraction is actually working all the time for everyone, meaning everything that has ever happened in our lives, we have attracted.
That may be true, but what good is The Law of Attraction if it doesn't do what we want it to do? Good, we attract everything. But if you are like me, I just want to attract the good stuff - all the stuff I want - not all the bad stuff I don't want. So how do we control it? How do we control the awesome, proven powers of The Law of Attraction? What's the real secret of using The Secret?
The Secret: Well, let's get one thing straight first. The Law of Attraction works. The Secret, as portrayed in the 2006 video and the book and audio series that followed, actually works. It has been proven over and over again over the years. It was discussed in the Bible, it was written about in the early 1900's and spoken about in the 1950's. We can see examples of it every day. What we focus on, what we see, feel and believe, we will tend to attract into our lives. The problem lies in the fact that what we attract is not always what we ask for and desire.
The Law of Attraction Out of Control: A real problem is that most people think it's magic. It is not. It is actually much more powerful than magic. But many people think they can think a thought, make a wish and they should get anything they desire. Then when they don't get it, they say that The Law of Attraction doesn't work. It does work; they just don't know how to control it to leverage its awesome powers.
Once after watching The Secret video with about a dozen other people, I asked them: "So what do you think?" They each responded: "Great stuff, but it seems a bit hocus-pocus to me. I want to do it, but how do I actually do it? That part wasn't quite clear enough."
I thought it over and decided to write several books about it to solve the problem. I wrote four that are actual power workbooks. They help guide people through actually creating and writing what you want and going through the process of attracting it.
